Location: Mascot, Sydney – 2/3 days on-site

Are you a mid-level Wireless Network Engineer seeking an exciting opportunity to enhance your skills and work with an enterprise client? Our client, an innovative MSP and Tech Solutions provider is looking for someone with a strong foundation to contribute to both BAU and project tasks.
Our client is entering an exciting time of growth and development and is looking for the right resources to support their fantastic clients.
Responsibilities:
Wireless Network Design:
- Conduct efficient wireless site surveys for robust network designs.
- Develop comprehensive wireless solutions based on business needs and best practices.
Cisco Wireless Tech:
- Configure and manage Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers for optimal performance.
- Implement and maintain Cisco Identity Services Engine for secure network access.
- Exposure to Cisco DNA-C for network automation.
Networking Expertise:
- Proficiency in Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking technologies.
- Collaborate to troubleshoot and resolve complex networking issues.
NOC Operations:
- Work in a NOC, responding to incidents and maintaining network health.
- Utilise ITIL framework for efficient incident management and service delivery.
Project Work:
- Collaborate on projects for wireless solutions and network enhancements.
- Ensure successful project delivery, meeting deadlines and exceeding client expectations.
About You:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Network Engineer with a strong focus with Cisco based products
- Proven experience with wireless design, Cisco WLC/ISE, Layer 2/3 proficiency.
- Certs – CCNA, CCNP with ITIL as a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal/written skills.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues promptly
- Australian Permanent Resident or Australian or New Zealand Citizen
